The Brazilian star Offers Apology to Los Blancos Supporters

Vinicius Jr in action

Vinicius Jr has scored 5 goals in 10 Spanish league appearances this season.

The Madrid giants forward Vinicius Jr has apologised to supporters for his reaction when substituted in Sunday's intense match against Barcelona win.

The Brazilian was replaced in the 72nd min and showed his annoyance by heading directly off the pitch.

The Brazilian subsequently came back to the bench and, after his side's narrow triumph, attempted to approach Barça's youngster Yamal during contentious post-match incidents.

"This day I want to say sorry to all the Real Madrid fans for my reaction when I was substituted in the big match," the player posted on X.

"Just as I have previously expressed during the latest practice, I would like to apologise again to my team-mates, the organization, and the club president.

"Sometimes passion gets the better of me because I continuously aim to triumph and support my club. My determined nature comes from the love I hold for this club and everything it represents."

He joined Real from Flamengo in the year 2018 for millions and has accumulated 111 goals in more than 300 games.

But his future in the Madrid is far from certain with rumors in recent months suggesting that the club would contemplate allowing the player depart if they got a appropriate bid.

When Vinicius was taken off on the match day, cameras from coverage provider Dazn picked him up saying: "Again me! I'm departing the side! It's better if I leave, I'm leaving."

In his new post on the platform, he stated: "I commit to keep battling every second for the welfare of the club, as I have performed since the initial arrival."
