I'll dominate 'serious boxer' Paul - Joshua
Anthony Joshua will face the American YouTuber in an eight-round contest which will be streamed in real-time on the streaming platform.
Briton Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" the American and "break" the American as the combatants came face-to-face to promote next month's heavyweight fight.
Former twice unified boxing king Anthony Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge mismatch - at Miami venue on 19 December.
Boxer's Mentality
"I'm going to break his face and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I will seriously aim to hurt him. That's my intention."
Civil Exchange
In spite of such comments, a calm Joshua and internet personality Paul - normally recognized for his theatrics - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul rather attacked ex Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and called him "a joke" after the Cameroonian turned down a fight offer.
Targeting Fury
Joshua, at the same time, targeted UK opponent Tyson Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul outshines Tyson Fury - he's present here," the boxer stated.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Opponent
In spite of declaring he will damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua declined to speak negatively about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he said.
Jake Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or faded names since becoming pro.
He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in last year.
Commercial Success
Still, the novice is still one of the sport's greatest financial successes, frequently receiving substantial earnings.
Prediction and Belief
The 28 year old anticipated a stoppage in round four or five and stated he would derail the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently under discussion for two years from now.
"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Paul declared.
Physical Difference
As both boxers engaged in the usual face-off, with their size difference on show, it emphasized just how unlikely this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the bout is truly happening.
